Thank you Shirley, Jill, Lindsley, Gam, Gayle and Joan for the beautiful buddha. Shirley heard me say “We need that buddha for our reception” as we browsed the outdoor little India shop on State Street. Shirley got together with the rest of the girls and her family and bought us the buddha as a wedding present. VERY generous and thoughtful!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you !!! May this buddha bestow blessings of love, joy and abundance on all of you and all who come into its presence. Love you madly!!!

Magical Powers of Ganesh and Yoko PINK spread LOVE

Just had these cards made for my wedding reception that is coming up next week. Ganesh on the front and Yoko’s song on the back. While reading TigerYogi’s blog I noticed he had a dream about Ganesh. Yesterday when the cards I ordered arrived, my husband tells me that he just heard that song on the iPod on the way home from work. Well, with 3,500 songs on random shuffle, how funny that he heard Yoko sing “I’m Your Angel” on the way home. Doug didn’t even know I had printed these cards… Ganesh brings magic. I didn’t realize that YOKO had also released a new gay wedding song!!!! ( a few years ago… wow how out of touch am I ?) LOVE YOU YOKO !!! Click on the cards to enlarge:

East West Gallery Santa Barbara

Neighbors of ours opened a gallery on the east side, called East West Gallery. The current show called The Human Landscape exhibits works by Imogen Cunningham and Herb Ritts and a few other photographers of the time. 10% of the profits go to Pacific Pride. Excellent show!!! East West.

Poppies… look out Dorothy… poppies…. poppies…

After casting poppy seeds to the sky over my garden (Thank you Ruth for the seeds) we now have flowers amidst the watermelon and the roses, between the kangaroo paw and the bachelor buttons and the wild cosmosity.

Mission Alternative Arts Show

This past fourth of July I participated in an annual Santa Barbara show called the 4th of July Old Mission Alternative Art Show. I met a lot of wonderful artists and friendly folk. The walls at Santa Barbara Arts got painted by Perry last week before the opening on First Thursday. Everyone seems to be enjoying the happy vibration coming from the orange wall.
